Ouch! by Ragnhild Scamell

I am reading this book with my Pre-K group this week for our apple theme.  I used it with the toddlers today (but really shortened the text) and they enjoyed it too!

  1. I absolutely adore your leaf blanket. In fact, I'd like to snuggle under one myself!

    1. I used 3 different shades of vibrant oranges - holding it up in the light muted the colors a bit, but it still makes me all warm and cozy for NY fall. =)

    1. If you find a better way to get the flannel pieces to stick to the hedgehog, let me know! I used masking tape and it worked just fine, but the goat left pieces of tape behind on the hedgehog which may have ruined the illustion a little bit LOL

  4. I have a hedgehog dog toy that I used and just stuck 3 strips of the hook side of Velcro onto it so that everything sticks - I would not do this with a puppet, but my dog toy is fair game:)
