Baby Time: Kind of St. Patrick-y

Plucky Cloverhopper (our leprechaun) caused some good-hearted mischief in our house last night.  I hope you are all enjoying a little extra fun today too!

My Phoebe (14 mo)
 My Grayden (3 1/2 yr)
It's hard to theme a baby program around St. Patrick's Day so I just tried to pick activities that included rainbows or green animals.

Mr. Bear always the life of the party
Tracks 2 and 3

 Humpty Dumpty:
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall (bounce baby)
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall (lean baby to side)
Humpty Dumpty fell in a puddle (drop/lower baby between knees)
Humpty Dumpty needs a big cuddle

The Alligator:
The alligator's jaws go snap, snap, snap ("snap" arms)
The alligator's tail goes thwack, thwack, thwack (moves arms side to side)
He's getting closer.... (if doing at home, crawl after baby or vice versa)
GOTCHA! (big hug)

Mr. Bullfrog
This is Mr. Bullfrog (make fist)
He's sitting on a rock (rest fist on other palm)
He jumps into the water...... (raise fist)
Kerplop! (open hand and clap them together)

Animal Song with Puppets: "All the Fish"
"All the Fish"

Prop Rhyme: Making Rainbow Soup

Bouncing Song:  "This Old Man"
"This Old Man"

I don't consider myself to be fashion-forward, but there are a few days a year that I, as a Youth Services Librarian, nail it.... nailed it!
